Petit Charat (プチ・キャラット), commonly known as Puchiko, is Di Gi Charat's younger sister. She typically ends her sentences with "nyu".
Appearance[]
Puchiko is a small cat girl with long brown hair and brown eyes. She typically wears a sailor uniform with blue bloomers, but wears a light blue dress with white bloomers in Di Gi Charat Nyo. Her long hair is parted and tied at the ends. She wears an orange tabby cat hat and a matching tail. A blue ribbon is attached to the base of her tail.
In 2008, Puchiko was given a new design, though the change was reverted in 2013. The design featured green eyes and changed her sailor uniform for a light green preschool uniform.
Personality[]
In contrast to Dejiko's noisy and rowdy personality, Puchiko is much more reserved. Although she doesn't talk much, she has quite a sharp tongue.
History[]
Puchiko first appeared in the July 1999 issue of From GAMERS.
In-universe[]
Puchiko is said to have met Dejiko when she saved her from being stuck in a hole, and has followed her around since. However, Puchiko is instead stated to simply be Dejiko's younger sister in newer media.
She came to Earth with Dejiko and Gema and works with them at a Gamers store in Akihabara.
Trivia[]
- The name of Puchiko's Laser Eye Beam is written in a simpler way compared to Dejiko's Laser Eye Beam. It is written entirely in Hiragana as "めからびーむ", in contrast to Dejiko's "目からビーム". Both are still pronounced the same.
- Puchiko is first character to have their Japanese voice actor reprise their role in an English dub, with Miyuki Sawashiro playing her in both the Japanese and English dubs of Leave it to Piyoko! in all but two episodes.
